Founded in 2011

Reimagined in 2025 and finally perfected in 2026

Since 2011, Aspirations Performing Arts has been a nurturing home for young dancers aged 5 to 19—where passion meets purpose, and every student is seen, supported, and inspired. Rooted in over two decades of excellence, our holistic training program blends technical mastery with personal growth, offering: Russian Classical Ballet, Acrobatic Arts, Drama, Jazz, Anatomy & Physiology, Tap and Musical Theatre. Whether students dream of the stage or simply seek joy in movement, we prepare them for success in the performing arts and beyond.

For Our Littlest Movers

Our TOTS program (pre-school curriculum) gently introduces children to the magic of dance through creativity, play, and foundational movement. It’s the perfect stepping stone into our graded classes—and it all unfolds in our charming studios at The Old School in Cuckfield, where imagination takes centre stage.

Beyond Technique: Real-World Connections

We believe in opening doors. Through partnerships with vocational colleges, associate schemes, and exclusive performance opportunities, our students gain invaluable industry exposure. We’re developing all the time and proud to soon be investing in a boys-only program and our new Saturday associate school, Bolshoi Edge, offering deeper enrichment and tailored support for every dancer’s growth.

A School That Feels Like Family

Across our four divisions—TOTS, Junior, Middle, and Upper Schools—we foster a culture of inclusion, mentorship, and belonging. Older students guide younger ones, and our whole community comes together in vibrant productions that celebrate every voice and talent.

Pathways to the Future

For those pursuing professional careers, we offer clear progression routes into Vocational Programs, Full-Time Classical Academies, and Pedagogy Degrees. From age 13, students can also begin our three-year teaching assistant qualification—building confidence, leadership, and lifelong skills.

Aspirations Performing Arts isn’t just a dance school....

It’s a place where the community comes together, and every dancer feels at home.

Our Ethos

Miss Amanda and her team take pride in igniting a genuine passion for dance in every student. It’s never just about learning the steps — it’s about understanding how to move with confidence, strength, and purpose. The lessons taught here reach far beyond the studio, supporting children in every area of their lives.

With a strong focus on social, cultural, moral, and ethical values, we aim to equip every child to shine in any situation.

Miss Amanda, our School Principal, has been teaching for over 35 years. She understands the importance of growth, reflection, and ongoing education, ensuring that Aspirations Performing Arts remains a school for the future — not one rooted in the past.

This commitment to progress is why Aspirations will evolve into a CIC in 2026. In a rapidly changing world, and at a time when dance and drama are sadly no longer affordable or accessible in many state schools, it is vital that every child has the opportunity to experience the performing arts.

Our mission is simple: to keep the arts open, inclusive, and within reach for all.
